Congratulations to Tamera Russell, Allira Hanczakowski and Tracey King on representing Australia at the Artistic German Cup last month.

Tamera placed 9th overall for her efforts in the Senior Ladies Figures, Allira placed 19th in the Junior Ladies Figures and Tracey placed 14th Youth Ladies Freeskate.

This competition is of a very high level and attracted many of the top European skaters in each grade and also over 20 skaters from Argentina, Colombia and Brazil.

It is a competition well worth attending for our up and coming and established world athletes. The Australian Artistic Committee plan to select athletes at the 2012 Australian Artistic Championship to be held in Sydney in July, to attend the German Cup in 2013.

Skate Australia would like to congratulate the girls in pursuing such an amazing opportunity to skate at the German Cup.
