DILLON Rae (9), of Kelmscott, has always had a little trouble with his co-ordination.

But after he saw his brother roller skating, he decided it looked like fun and wanted to give it a go.

It took him quite a while to get the movement of left and right feet correct, but after persevering with the sport and 100 per cent attendance, he has finally passed level one, even though he was a little behind everyone else.

His mother Melinda Rae said Dillon had not stopped trying with his chosen sport, really pushing himself, and that was why she nominated him as a junior sports star for the HBF Junior Sports Star Heroes Program in the boys achievement category.
