
MACKAY'S Bevan Hurley led the way for the Australian team at the world men’s B roller hockey championships in Austria.
Hurley, 19, scored 11 goals in eight games to be Australia’s leading goalscorer at the championships and help the national side to an eighth-place finish, its best in recent years.
“It was a good championship and I was happy with the way I played,” Hurley said on his return to Mackay yesterday.
