President - Dr Pat Wallace

Dr Pat Wallace is a General Practitioner who is the national & international (FIRS) doping control officer, where she has been a pioneer in policy development for the sport.  She has completed governance training from AICD and believes in the philosophy “The more you learn about perspectives other than your own, the greater the chance you will be able to judge objectively”. Pat was elected as president at the 2009 AGM in Perth after holding a director position for several years.

Danae Clark

Danae is CPA qualified with a commerce degree and professional experience in business management and strategic planning. Having represented Australia as a participant, she has an active interest in skating and with coaching & official accreditations also understands a range of stakeholder perspectives in the sporting system. After being elected at the 2012 AGM, Danae looks forward to combining her interest and relevant skills to help support the ongoing future development of skating at all levels and as a health industry professional, advocate the active and healthy lifestyle that accompanies it.

Simon Oxenham

Simon’s association with Skateboarding is lifelong, from first stepping on a board in 1975 and continuing through until today. His motivation for joining the Skate Australia Board is the same as his motivation to commence and remain at the helm of one of the leading international skate park design and construction companies for almost one-and-a-half decades. As a long-time supporter of Skate Australia and SbA, he views the seat on the Skate Australia Board as a fantastic opportunity to bring the unique and diverse range of skills he has developed to a group of like-minded people, and together contribute to the ongoing development of skateboarding within Australia by helping ensure that the sport is made readily available to as many people as possible.
