MEETING TO BE HELD ONLINE VIA MICROSOFT TEAMS

Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Skate Australia limited will be held on:

Venue: Virtual

Invitations to Voting Members, Life Members and Affiliate Members will be sent closer to the AGM date.

Call for Nominations for Directors of the Board

Ahead of our 2026 Annual General Meeting, the organisation is seeking nominations from experienced Directors for available positions on the Skate Australia Board.

The Nominations Committee is keen to see candidates with the following skills:

Legal
Government Relations & Stakeholder management
Commercial (including broadcast)
Public Relations & Media
Risk Management
Finance

Nominations close 6.00pm AEST on 28th September 2026 and must be submitted to Alex Anasson, Chief Executive Officer, Skate Australia via email: admin@skateaustralia.org.au

Voting Members

In line with Clause 12 of the Skate Australia Constitution, each appointing agency may appoint a voting member. The following appointing agencies have one (1) vote each:

State / Territory Associations:

Skate New South Wales
Skate Queensland
Skate Western Australia
Skate South Australia

Technical Committees:

Artistic Skating
Speed Skating
Roller Derby
Skateboarding
Inline Hockey
Rink Hockey

Details on the requirements of voting members, including eligibility, duties of voting members, and composition, can be found in Clause 12 of the Skate Australia Constitution.

Proxy forms will be sent to voting members for those who are unavailable. Proxy forms will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to the AGM (6:00 PM AEST/QLD on 24th October 2026).
