The Gold Coast Festival of Skateboarding, presented by Skate Australia, will be Australia’s largest multi‑day celebration of skateboarding, youth culture and action sports.

 

Scheduled during the vibrant July school holiday period, the festival will bring together, Rumble on the Beach-host of Skate Australia’s National Skateboarding Championships, Just Roll with It-Australia’s premier adaptive skateboarding competition, participation programs, activations and tourism engagement across multiple locations on the Gold Coast.

The festival is designed to appeal to a broad audience including competitive skateboarders, youth participants, families, action sports fans, and visitors to the Gold Coast. By bringing together elite competition and grassroots participation opportunities, the event will create a genuine festival atmosphere around skateboarding culture across the City of the Gold Coast.

With an event or experience for everyone-whether you're an aspiring athlete, a fan or just starting to shred-the inaugural 2026 Gold Coast Festival of Skateboarding is sure to become a mainstay on the calendar of all action sport enthusiasts for years to come!

Also, thanks to our friends at Dreamworld, participants in Rumble on the Beach events and Just Roll With It, will receive a 20% off Dreamworld entry throughout July to keep the fun rolling!

Just Roll With It

Come down to Pizzey Park Skate Park on 4th July to enjoy the festivities at Just Roll with It-delivered by Skate Advantage!

Australia's premier inclusive skateboarding event is back on the Gold Coast again in 2026 and will include clinics, jams and comps for all abilities to shred!

Rumble Roadshow

After Rumble on the Beach, we’ll be taking some of our best skateboarders to some key locations on the Gold Coast.

 

These roadshow days are 100% free to attend, you can meet your favourite competitors, watch a demo, get an autograph, learn some tricks and win some merch in the best trick jams.

 

The days are for people of all ages and levels.

Surface Festival - Santa Cruz Skateboards

Head down to Miami Marketta for a celebration of community, bringing together art, music, and skating for the ultimate Sunday session.

 

Featuring an epic lineup of local bands, a skate ramp takeover with pro skaters, and a high-energy case jump competition.

Also, don't miss the GOLDTOOTH Zine Launch! A love letter to Gold Coast skateboarding, GOLDTOOTH is a photography zine celebrating local spots, community and characters of the coast.

6 Years to Go - BNE 2032 Countdown!

Come down to Pizzey Skate Park and join Gold Coast Sport and Recreation in celebrating Trec for Rec and 6 Years to go to Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games!

There will be something for everyone from 9am to 2pm.

A&H Skateboard Workshops:
Ormeau, Nerang & Oxenford

If you feel nervous about trying skateboarding, don't be!

 

Supported by Go Gold Coast Month, come on down to Norfolk Skate Park on the 4th July, Nerang Skate Park on the 11th July or Weka Skate Park on the 25th July and be taught by expert coaches.

These workshops are free all inclusive and great for beginners.

Learning new skills may be a little challenging – but that will make you even more proud when you give it a go.

You don't even need your own gear, as skateboards and helmets are supplied for up to 15 participants.

Girls Who Skate session Miami

Join an inspiring afternoon of skateboarding, connection and confidence at our Girls Who Skate session.

Led by local skateboard company Rock n Slide, these fun and supportive sessions are designed for girls and young women of all skill levels. Whether you're stepping on a skateboard for the first time or looking to master your next trick, the experienced team at Rock n Slide will help you build your skills in a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment.

More than just skateboarding, Girls Who Skate is about building friendships, celebrating personal achievements and creating a positive space where everyone feels supported. Families are encouraged to come along, cheer on participants and experience the vibrant skate community together.

Come along, have fun, build confidence and discover why skateboarding is one of the fastest-growing activities for girls on the Gold Coast.

These events are about bringing the community together and promoting skating to families in a healthy and safe environment.
