Fynn claim's men's national title

Tommy Fynn claimed the men's Rumble on the Beach Street and Australian National Championship, producing a standout performance at Pizzey Park as Australia's skateboarders showcased the bright future of the sport.


Fynn's winning score of 161.50 saw him finish more than 22 points clear of Corey Nixon (138.67), with Paddy McCaughley (137.33) completing the podium after an entertaining final that highlighted the depth of talent emerging through Skate Australia's pathway.


With the country's leading street skateboarders battling it out at one of Australia's most iconic skateparks, the Gold Coast event provided a valuable opportunity for athletes to test themselves in a high-level competition environment while continuing their development towards future international events.


Fynn delivering under pressure to secure the national title, while Nixon and McCaughley pushed him throughout the final with impressive runs of their own.


With Australia's street skateboarding talent continuing to grow, the Rumble on the Beach Championships once again demonstrated the strength of the domestic scene and the exciting group of athletes emerging on the road towards future international success.
