Olympic Champion Arisa Trew is dreaming of repeating her historic performance in Paris, and today she officially marked two years to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games at Dreamworld in style.

The Paris gold medalist returned to the Gold Coast and was joined by Olympian Keefer Wilson, newly crowned Australian Men's Park National Champion Taj Wolfenden and emerging stars Aaliyah Wilson, Chihiro Young, Zen Dickson, Louie Daiguchi and Rouge Day.

The stars represent the exciting depth of Australia's next generation of skateboarders chasing Olympic dreams.

“I’m super excited for LA 2028,” Trew said.

“It’s going to be super fun and super exciting, the vibe is so good over in America and I think the event will be really good.

“My dream for the Olympics is to do well, land a run and have fun with my friends.

“The previous Olympics were super cool in Paris, I won gold, which was really amazing. I landed some runs which I was really stoked with. It was just a crazy cool experience at my first Olympics. I would love to go again.”

Australia has established itself as a global powerhouse in skateboarding following its historic success at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and the road to Los Angeles is already well underway, with athletes now earning valuable ranking points as they pursue Olympic qualification.

Skate Australia CEO Alex Anasson said the two-year milestone was an opportunity to celebrate the sport's remarkable growth and the young athletes inspiring the next generation.

"With two years to go until LA28, there's enormous excitement around Australian

skateboarding. Our athletes continue to prove they can compete with the world's best, and we're thrilled to celebrate that journey with Dreamworld and the Australian Olympic Committee while inspiring more young Australians to get on a skateboard and dream big.

“We’ve seen so much great talent as part of the Gold Coast Festival of Skateboarding and it is exciting this milestone falls while we are having our National Championships.

“It is a really exciting time for the sport and we are really looking forward to continuing to build pathways so that our athletes can achieve on the grandest stage.”

Dreamworld is the Official Theme Park Partner of the Australian Olympic Team.
