Artistic Skating has had a busy year in 2025, with nearly 20 clubs around Australia developing artistic skaters of all ages. Domestically, the highlight was our July National Championships in Melbourne, contested by over 200 skaters from around the country, many of whom featured in our social media promotion on Instagram (@aus.art.skate) and Facebook and attracted over 1 million views in under 3 months! We also hosted the Oceania Championships and Pacific Cup in Brisbane in August, bringing together over 100 of the best athletes from our region including New Zealand, Japan, Chinese Taipei and India.

Internationally, we had athletes compete at the Americas Cup in Orlando in January, the Artistic International Series in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Trieste, Italy in April and May, and the Final in Reggio Emilia, Italy in June. Australia dominated the medal tally at the Oceania Championships and had 15 athletes in 9 entries in the World Championships in China in October, where our best result was Amor Angeli in the Top 10 in Senior Quartets. We have two athletes who also coach at the December World Skate International Seminar in Argentina and over 200 athletes, coaches and officials registered for the World Skate International Seminar in Brisbane in January 2026.
