Skate Australia has announced the Australian Roller Freestyle team to compete at the World Skate Games in Asunción, Paraguay, from October 2-18.

The team features a blend of experienced international competitors and emerging young talent, with athletes set to represent Australia across street, park and vert disciplines at the world's premier roller sports event.

Leading the team is Australian roller freestyle stalwart Sam Fogarty, who has been selected in Men's Street & Park and Vert. Fogarty continues to be one of the most influential figures in Australian roller skating, combining elite-level competition with significant leadership roles within the sport.

Earlier this year, Fogarty claimed victory in the Veterans Blading Cup event at FISE in Montpellier, France, defeating a strong international field and further cementing his reputation as one of Australia's most accomplished roller freestyle athletes.

Joining Fogarty on the Australian team is Shane Yost in Men's Vert, while Hal Durham will contest the Junior Men's Street & Park division and Theresa Wang has been selected in Junior Women's Street.

The team will be supported by Team Manager Sam Fogarty and Coach Daniel Fogarty.
