Countdown to the 2025 Oceania Scootering Championships & Australian National Championships

The 2025 World Skate Oceania Scootering Championships will land in Australia for the first time next month with the City of Moreton Bay hosting the event at Morayfield Skatepark from August 9-13.

Co-hosted by Skate Australia and World Skate Oceania, this year’s event will be bigger and bolder after its inaugural inception last year when it was held in Napier, New Zealand.

Building on the increasing popularity of scootering, the event will also serve as the Australian National Championships for the Park and Street scootering disciplines. All Australian athletes competing in the Oceania Championships will automatically be eligible for the national titles, adding an extra layer of prestige to the event.

The Pacific Cup, a community focused event held in conjunction with the World Skate Oceania Championships for Scootering, will offer male and female U13 and U10 riders the opportunity to be a part of the action.

The World Skate Oceania Scootering Championships will be cover both park and street disciplines and split into the following categories:

• Men's Open

• Women's Open

• Juniors 17 & Under (Mixed Gender)

World Skate Oceania advises that there will be unlimited quota places per category and riders must adhere to the following:

• Prove citizenship of the country they represent

• Registered with their National Federation

• Hold current paid membership with Federation

Event Schedule: August 9-13

• Saturday 9th August: Rider Check In: 2:00pm to 4:00pm (Rider Briefing TBC)

• Sunday 10th August: Official Practice – Park & Street

• Monday 11th August: Qualification / Semi Finals – Park & Street

• Tuesday 12th August: Finals – Park & Street

• Wednesday 13th August: Reserve Day for inclement weather

Detailed information regarding the competition format in relation to number of heats, progression to semifinals and finals, respecting World Skate Scootering Regulations, will be provided after registrations have closed.
