Skate Australia is pleased to announce that Australian skateboarders can now apply for entry into new Skate Australia sanctioned competitions, part of inaugural Pathways contests launching in June 2025.
The 2025 (one off) competitions will be hosted in Queensland with Street kicking it off at Pizzey Park, Gold Coast from June 18 – 20 and Park following from June 21 – 23 at Redback Plains.
The Pathways competitions are not official national championships this year, however they are an important precursor towards Skate Australia building a National Competition Series and National Championships for 2026.
Nationally categorised and ‘class of 2024’ SBP athletes will receive an automatic confirmation of a position however they need to register via the links below. Athletes who are not categorised or SBP can now also apply for Wild Card entry slots.
In 2025, the competitions are not mandatory for national team selection processes, however athletes aspiring to be considered for future national quota slots at World Skate events should see this as a great opportunity to show where they are at!
DETAILS:
· Registration Closing Date/Time: 5.30pm Monday 2 June.
· Wild Card places will be confirmed by Wednesday 4 June.
· Wild Card places will be at the discretion of Skate Australia considering a range of factors, and will include prioritising a high standard of competition.
