Skate Australia is pleased to announce 14 teams who will represent Australia across nine different disciplines at the upcoming World Skate Games.
The fourth edition of the World Skate Games will take place across Italy from 6 to 22 September 2024.
Over 140 athletes will don the green and gold across the nine disciplines including Men’s and Women’s Inline Hockey, Roller Derby, Scootering and Rink Hockey.
Skate Australia CEO Dr Caitlin Honey said the announcement was an exciting time for the skate community.
“We are proud to announce that over 140 individual athletes will represent Australia at this year’s World Skate Games,”
“These athletes and their supporters have worked hard to earn selection.
“On behalf of the Skate Australia community I wish them all the best with their preparations and look forward to following their participation in the competition this September.”
Additional teams and athletes who will represent Australia in the remaining disciplines at the World Skate Games will be announced in due course.
