Skate Australia (SA) are excited to announce the establishment of a Skateboard National Technical Committee (SNTC).
The SNTC has been established to provide advice, guidance, and support to SA in the development and growth of Skateboarding and to assist in the administration, development and management of Skateboarding at a national level.
The attached Terms of Reference for the SNTC outline the key skills that Skate Australia believe will assist in the development and growth of Skateboarding in Australia (Section 4.2 – Committee Management).
Skate Australia see three key criteria as essential in the development of the SNTC:
Event Judging and Officiating experience or expertise
Coaching
Pathway development
If you have experience in any or all of these areas, we encourage you to email a copy of your resume and a one page cover letter outlining your capabilities in relation to the SNTC.
Expressions of interest will be open from the 23rd March 2023 to the 6th April 2023. The Skate Australia Nominations committee will assess applicants and put forward recommendations to the Skate Australia executive for final approval.
