Skate Australia is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals from across the country to join the Skateboarding High Performance Committee.
This is your chance to directly influence the development, governance, and progress of Skateboarding nationally and internationally.
About the Committee
The purpose of the Committee is to support the Board and Executive team in achieving Skate Australia’s strategic high performance (HP) objectives. Specifically, the Committee will provide advice and oversight for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Skateboarding High Performance Program.
The Committee will:
Guide and monitor the development and implementation of the Skateboarding High Performance Strategy;
Ensure alignment with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), National Institute Network (NIN), and other key partners; and
Provide a forum for expert advice, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in HP environments.
Who We’re Looking For
If you’re based anywhere in Australia and have experience, skills, or passion for the sport, we encourage you to apply.
Ideal candidates may include:
Players (grassroots to elite, current or former)
Coaches
Referees
Club administrators
Athlete representatives (must have represented Australia within past 3 years)
Advocates for inclusion, diversity, and regional participation
Individuals with governance, legal, financial, or media experience relevant to sport
