Fresh from kicking off her Olympic qualification campaign with a commanding victory in Rome, Australian street star Chloe Covell returned home in style, claiming the women's title at the Rumble on the Beach Street Championships at Pizzey Park on the Gold Coast.
The reigning World Skate Street World Cup champion was in a class of her own at the Gold Coast Festival of Skateboarding.
"Representing Australia is a massive honour, super excited to do this local competition down at Pizzey Park, one of my local skateparks,” Covell said.
"It's great to see all the local groms coming up and everyone shredding."
With Australia's best emerging street skateboarders sharing the course alongside one of the sport's biggest stars, the event highlighted the depth of talent building towards LA 2028 and a home Olympic Games at Brisbane 2032.
Covell showed why she remains one of Australia's brightest medal hopes, producing another polished performance at one of her favourite skateparks.
For many of the country's young skaters, it was the opportunity to skate alongside one of the world's best, gaining invaluable experience and inspiration as Australia's skateboarding pathway continues to strengthen.

Covell said returning home to compete at Pizzey Park made an already memorable season even more special.
"The 2026 season has been super busy for me,” she said.
“I've done heaps of competitions, the Rome World Skate Games, that was pretty good, the first one that counts toward the Olympics.
"Two X Games back-to-back, busy year ahead. I've got one more X Games next weekend that I'm looking forward to, and heaps more throughout the year.”
With LA 2028 now firmly on the horizon, Covell said her victory in Rome had provided the perfect launchpad for her Olympic ambitions.
"LA 2028 is definitely the goal. Getting the win at Rome was a great start to qualification for the Olympics,” she said.
“There are a few more qualification events to go, hopefully I can qualify. It's one of the biggest cities in the world, it would be super cool.”
