Following a successful Olympic Games and the announcement of Brisbane as the host city of the 2032 Olympic/Paralympic Games, Skate Australia is embarking on an ambitious and exciting high performance and performance pathway strategy for park and street skateboarding.
This leadership role will work closely with the Skateboarding High Performance Committee to develop, implement and monitor the high performance strategy and operational plans across the entire performance pathway.
Building strong and effective relationships with teams at the Australian Institute of Sport, National Institute Network and the Australian Olympic Committee, the successful candidate will lead the management and development of high performance athletes, coaches and support staff, establishing a supportive, performance team culture which drives their holistic development.
This is an opportunity to join a National Sporting Organisation (NSO) entering a period of growth. The Australian skateboarding team recently returned from Tokyo with one gold medal and two top five finishes. We are proud of the performances of the whole team and we're committed to building upon this success to achieve ambitious performance objectives at Paris 2024.
