Scorpions unstoppable in New Zealand

Former Chilean World Champion player Roberta Urea Cifuentes led the Scorpions Senior Women’s Team to an undefeated series in the Senior Womens Division of the 2026 Taranaki ANZAC Invitational Tournament in New Zealand.

Captain Cifuentes spearheaded the campaign, leading the goalscoring for the competition, but was well supported by a skilled and determined team in all facets of the games against strong opposition.   

The team consisted of Roberta Urea Cifuentes (Captain), Jaycie Hooper, Sri Yalla, Paula Sakuma, Luciana Reid, Manuella Scremin, and Belle Welch (Goalkeeper).  

The competition concluded concluded on Saturday 18th April, and was a great success with a record number of teams entered.
