Australian scooter star Taj Shambrook has continued his impressive 2026 campaign, claiming the bronze medal at the World Cup in Rome after delivering a standout performance in the men's final.
Shambrook posted a score of 90.10, earning third place behind Great Britain's Charley Dyson (93.07) and Czech rider Matej Pekarek (92.33) in a world-class final that showcased the sport's elite.
The podium finish is another major milestone in what has already been an outstanding season for the Australian. Earlier this year, Shambrook dominated the World Skate Oceania Continental Scooter Championships in New Zealand, winning the men's park title and underlining his status as one of the world's leading riders.
The Rome result further strengthens Australia's growing reputation on the international scootering stage, with Shambrook producing a composed and technically polished final run to secure a place on the podium against a stacked field.
Having now added a World Cup bronze medal to his Oceania title, Shambrook heads into the remainder of the 2026 season carrying significant momentum, with the Australian Scooter National Championships and the World Skate Games in Paraguay looming later this year.
